ADL Conference 2017 Closes Successfully

With 134 registered attendees and speakers from each Nordic country as well as from, United States, Ukraine, Georgia, Estonia, Germany, Poland, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Serbia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy and New Zealand, it turned out to be a very successful conference held in very beautiful surroundings at Hotel Tylosand.
The conference was opened by Lt. Colonel Stefan Borén from Departement for Leadership and Pedagogical Development, Swedish Armed Forces.
This years event provided an excellent opportunity to discuss all aspects of this years main subjects:
- Examples of increased use of blended learning designs
- Measuring learning and tracking learning activities (xAPI)
- Augmented and virtual reality
- Re-designing learning spaces
- Blending formal and informal learning
- Improving digital literacy
- Personalizing learning
The conference also offered workshops with a great opportunity for dialogue. In addition to this there was opportunity to visit the exhibitors area, where participants could see and try out some of the displayed products.
Thanks to all attendees, exhibitors, speakers, thanks to this years keynote speakers: Associate Professor Ole Lauridsen (Aarhus University), Mr Julian Stodd (Sea Salt Learning) and Director Sae Schatz (ADL Initiative), and also a great thanks to those who helped in the wings to get it all to work.
We hope to see all of you again next year ( April 9th – 12th, 2018) in Denmark!
